Buyout Program
Rockin Kt Equine Redemption is a non-profit organization focused on helping
horses in danger, or horses possibly headed for slaughter. We are offering a
limited purchase program to horse owners who might be facing economic
stresses or difficulties this winter. Instead of dumping your horse, having to
sort through numerous responses on ads or taking your horse to a feed lot,
auction or sale barn where it runs the risk of ending up
at slaughter, we are offering a Buyout Program. Horses will be taken
in by RKER who will address health and behavioral needs and make decisions in
the best interest of the animals.
Condition is not a consideration, so no one should hesitate to contact us with a horse needing placement.
Please contact us with the basic information on your equines and we will try to arrange help as soon as possible. To help us address your equine’s specific needs, please be as honest as possible with descriptions.
The horse will be accepted as space and funds allow, wait times can range from 2-14 days. (However, paid surrenders of $500 can be accepted to the rescue as soon as the brand inspection is completed.)
Horses, Ponies and Mules - $100
All equines - of any shape, size, condition, age and training. A check for $100 per head will be issued to you upon pickup or delivery of the animal. Brand inspection must be provided. Brand inspection compensation can be arranged.

Buyout Program Sponsor
Rockin Kt Equine Redemption is a non-profit organization focused on
helping horses in danger of neglect, and horses possibly headed for
slaughter.
To prevent dumping of horses at feed lots, auctions or sale barns, which
often leads to the slaughter pipeline, we are offering a Buyout Program.
We will take any equine regardless of condition, age, size, shape or
training. This is a limited purchase program to owners who might be facing
economic stresses or difficulties this winter.
Surrendered horses will be taken in by RKER who will address health and
behavioral needs and make decisions in the best interest of the animals.
Please consider DONATING to this program. We are overwhelmed by the
number of owners who are reaching out to us during these difficult times.
We can only support these buy-outs if there are funds to do so.
